The ACB and Bank of Africa held a workshop on dedollarization in the DRC. The workshop was sponsored by BOA-RDC and featured a presentation by the Director General of Monetary Policy of the Central Bank of Congo. The presentation covered the origins of dollarization in the DRC, its consequences and risks, and different mechanisms for dedollarizing the national economy.

The ACB is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, [www.acb.finance]. The new website is designed to be a comprehensive resource for information about the Congolese banking sector and the ACB's work.

The ACB recently held talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to discuss ways to foster financial stability in the DRC. The talks were held in Kinshasa on March 30, 2020.

The ACB welcomes CRDB Bank Congo to its membership and looks forward to working with the bank to promote the development of the Congolese banking sector and improve the financial services available to Congolese citizens and businesses.
